Stroll the Canals
Walk up an appetite along many of Birmingham’s peaceful canals and take advantage of a few of the bars along the way, you will soon be ready for a delicious Indian feast at Itihaas Indian Restaurant.
Ikon Gallery
Ikon is an independent art gallery in Brindley Place. Their current exhibition for February 2024 is from British-Jamaican artist Exodus Crooks, exploring themes of domesticity, care, tenderness and reimagination. As part of Ikon’s 60th Anniversary year, this exhibition is perfect for quiet contemplation of what it means to love.
Golf Fang
The epitome of fun date ideas: Golf Fang is mini-golf all grown up. Head to Digbeth to take in the vibrant graffiti artwork, listen to a live DJ and play a truly unique take on 18-hole mini golf. Nothing gets the romance flowing like some healthy competition. Work on your swing, win your partner a prize at the arcade, and head to dinner.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Stunning glasshouses, tropical rainforest plants and acres of beautiful gardens make for the perfect backdrop to spending time with the one you love. The Birmingham Botanical Gardens have events throughout February, including a light projection showingart from Saranjit Birdi and community groups.
Once you have taken in the stunning grounds, you are only a 10-minute drive away from finishing off your Valentine’s date with a 3 course, candlelit dinner.

From our special Valentine’s Day Menu for 2024, couples can enjoy a sharing platter to start, with paprika-spiced cod tempura, tandoori Dim Sum, Chilli Garlic Mushrooms and more.
Follow this up with a main course: choose from Rogan Josh, Makhani Murgh, Vegan Aloo Gobi, Fish curry or Dhaniya Tahree Murgh. All main courses are accompanied by Cumin Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan, Coriander Naan and Makhani Dhal.
